Oven Gloves - Arty Sardy (pair)

Cook to your hearts content with these cute little mitts by your side. We are pretty obsessed with food but don't love burnt hands so thought we'd whip up a batch of these oven mitts to save our skin and (look cute while doing so!) These were quite the challenge to make as we were determined to construct them without any polyester filling. At last we settled on kapok fiber to sandwich between the linen- Kapok is a moisture-resistant, quick-drying, resilient, and buoyant fibre obtained from the fruit of the kapok tree or the kapok tree itself. Perfect for our purpose and making these linen gloves fully bio degradable as well as protective for you hands for when you retrieve your delicious bakes from the oven.

Care Instructions:
Cold hand wash or delicate machine wash on cold cycle
Mild detergent
Do not tumble dry
Do not use bleach or bleaching agents
Hang to dry out of direct sunlight

Designed, pattern cut and sampled in our home studio in Byron Bay.
